The coat buttons up if you would like the fur to show, but you do have the option to zip up the coat as well. If you zip up the coat, the fur then becomes an extra warm barrier on the inside. The fur is detachable and the jacket is waterproof to help against rain and snow. The design entails fur lined everywhere on the coat, but the sleeves. The coat itself is detachable. The hood fur is removable, the hood itself is removable, the sleeves are removable and ultimately the jacket can turn into an all fur vest!
